MediaCorp Days of Rage is a 5 part series by Channel NewsAsia about the history behind Singapore. It covers the 5 main incidents Maria Hertogh, Hock Lee Bus Riots, 1964 Race Riots, MacDonald House Bombing and Laju Hijack.
As the Public Relations team under CEC Media Lab, we are tasked to educate and engage Republic Polytechnic students on these 5 incidents, bringing knowledge to them about how Singapore was shaped and the importance of recognising it. As such, we came up with several creative methods and pitched them to MediaCorp before selecting the best and executing over the periods November 2013 to May 2014.

Execution
Bringing the series to live through 3 events - Instagram contest, Movie Screening and Exhibition. To raise awareness of these events, publicity collaterals such as posters and floor stickers were designed to garner the attention of the students.
Exhibition - we've put together an exhibition consisting of panels which tells the story of all the 5 different exhibition through archived photos and write ups. To make things more interesting, we've also included a contest in the exhibition so that the students will be able to win attractive prizes from Channel NewsAsia when they come for the exhibition. To ensure the students take away something from the exhibition, we have an engagement board where they can pen down their thoughts and what they've learned from the event which will be displayed as part of the exhibition.
